A Workbook for Survivors and Therapists by Janina Fisher, PhD.

I had heard Janina Fisher’s name around trauma therapy circles – so when I heard an interview with her on this Healing Trauma podcast and the way she spoke, I resonated with her deeply compassionate approach to accepting and embracing deeply wounded parts. She mentioned her brand new book and how it is written for therapists to help their clients and also for clients, and could be done with or without a therapist I was intrigued and decided to check it out. Highly recommended – she’s up there on the new edge of evidence based trauma therapy and research with the likes of Bessel Van der Kolk, Richard Schwartz and Gabor Mate.
