Welcome to the updating of the SMR Meeting Script. When a revision was undertaken in 2021, it took about 4 or 5 months to complete the task. There are a lot less changes expected this time, still, understand that the process will be thorough and will take a few months.

For the month of March, members will be able to comment and suggest directly onto the document linked above – The SMR Script for Review – 2025. Comments may also be offered here on this post. After an initial comment phase, suggested script changes will be discussed, a few at a time, in breakout rooms after the SMR meeting.

“Our Unity Statement pausing at the end of each line to stay together” This would replace the word prayer and make it possibly more easily participated in by those who have different conceptions of a “higher power”. Also suggest stressing “Pausing at the end of each line to allow us to stay together” to allow for time to say this statement as a Unified Body.
