WHAT: ACA (Adult Children of Alcoholics and Other Family Dysfunction) is a 12-Step Fellowship that helps people that were raised in a dysfunctional family of origin.
WHY: Children raised in a dysfunctional home develop self-doubt and fear that impacts their ability to function as adults. Together we slowly release our ways of coping that served us as children, but do not serve us as adults. “The Laundry List” at adultchildren.org is something that many of us found eye-opening.
