Envisioning the Future: Vision Board Playdates

(on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month, at about 9:00 am eastern, after the morning meeting)

Begun around the time of the New Year, we continue to explore and create our personalized visions of the months and year ahead. Let’s stay fearless. Let’s bravely claim what’s been promised – that we can expect and envision the best, and get it.

Join your friends as we each create Vision Boards – a type of treasure map that will lead us toward our goals, our dreams, our True Selves. The project is part drawing, part collage and totally what you want to make it. Have some art supplies on hand – drawing paper, crayons, colorful pens and pencils, perhaps some paints or markers. Consider adding images from newspapers and magazines. You may need scissors, glue and tape. Consider creating with foamcore which is more rigid than paper. Or start by with a thrift shop picture frame and tailor your image to fit. It will then be ready to hang on the wall.

Now is the time to give the project some thought. Allow for many options. Maybe you would like to decorate the inside of a box, so that whenever you look inside you can be immersed in the world of your creation. Consider different dreams. Gather your materials.

Please consider participating in this rewarding activity.

Where will your treasure map lead you?

When: The 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month at approx. 9:00A ET

Where: Zoom ID 886-8839-0978 (same as our morning meeting) No password is necessary.

I am very interested in this. I created a vision board about 15 years ago. The creation process was fun. It felt so good to put my dreams (some which seemed so unattainable at the time) into a visual work of art. I looked at it almost daily for several years before I had to put it away during a move/new home build. Didn’t look at it for almost 5 years. When I rediscovered it last year I was shocked to see that more than half of what I had put there had come to fruition in my life.
I have just started collecting old magazines and catalogues so that I can create a new one this year. Would love to do it with this group!

I love vision board building! And have done so for many years. Some hang on my walls as reminder of the power of possibility, intention, Grace. I have one under construction now.
Recently, in another program I attended a Vission Workshop, 500 recovering friends from around the world…very empowering, inspiring,….count me in!
