Are you concerned about the current state of the SMR contact list?
If so (and even if not), you’re encouraged to attend the Town Hall regarding the list at 9am Eastern on July 14th.
Although the task of updating the list is part of the job description for the Communications Co-Secretaries, several issues have arisen that make upkeep of the list difficult. Issues include (but are not limited to):
- Size of the list – We have over 800 names, many of whom no longer attend our SMR meeting
- Creating the list to post is a BIG administrative task and requires knowledge of MailChimp and Excel
- Our list was downloaded and used recently for personal reasons and that left all the emails on the list open to being abused
- We currently have no one willing to perform the task
If you love the Contact list, or think the Contact list is a waste of time, we want to know. Attend the Town Hall that was approved by group conscience Motion 24-5.
