Bridge of Pain

by Margot L.

During our daily meetings I encourage my Little Inner Child to express herself. She prints and draws using my non-domninant hand. Some of her drawings I embroider onto a piece of cloth. My Little One cannot use a needle and thread so she participated in this embroidery by painting the sky!

This particular picture was inspired by a meditation in the daily reader. The Bridge of Pain shows me walking from denial towards acceptance. I trip, fall, get back up and move forward. Near the end of the bridge I meet my Inner Child and we walk off the bridge together. Underneath the bridge are wrappers reminding me that I must let go of flour and sugar. These substances inhibit my ability to converse with my Inner Child.

I am most grateful for this daily meeting where my Little One and I have the opportunity to read and reflect on the morning meditation with my ACA family.
